Yesterday at a tag sale, I sold 4 pieces of art — huzzah! The lady who purchased them collects original paintings (prints only if the artist is extremely famous, like Picasso) and donates them to a local fire department. The department then sells the art during an annual fundraiser — a blessing all around.

One of the paintings was a watercolor of a tree on the Chapel green at Principia College, a national historic landmark in Elsah, IL.
