Rates vary based on the service. I am also available for personal consultations to review your own art and writing projects or to help brainstorm ways to implement your ideas. Phone and/or email consultations can be arranged if meeting in person is not possible.

Art & Creative Services

I take artistic commissions of all sorts: portraiture, Pandagrams, illustration, traditional fine art, and concept art—to name a few. I work in most two-dimensional media. If you have an idea and are looking for an artist to implement it, I would be glad to discuss your ideas and give you an estimate. Costs varies based on size, medium, design, and other factors.

Possibilities include, but are by no means limited to, the following:

  • Portraits (people and/or pets)
  • Custom Pandagram-style art
  • Caricatures
  • Boats
  • Still life
  • Illustration
  • Cover art
  • Landscapes
  • Character design
  • Comics/serial art
  • Board game art design
  • Adding artistic accents to your home (eg., refreshing furniture & fixtures, creating designs on doors or cabinets, small murals).
  • Hand-drawn cards (birthday, graduation, etc.)

  • General graphic design: Create print-ready files for advertisements/flyers, business cards, note cards, publications.
  • Book layout: Format text and illustrations into a print-ready document.
    • Can also create illustrations & cover art (separate commission fee from layout/design work)
  • Brand/style refreshment: Provide feedback on your existing branding, logo, and/or style—or even a single document—and help you update the look as needed.
  • Newsletter design and e-mailing

Writing

Please contact me with document details (content, length, etc.) and anticipated due date for an estimate. I prefer to work by an hourly rate, but I can adjust for word and page counts if necessary. Flat fees may be considered for writing services. 

  • Proofreading: Correct spelling, punctuation, and other grammatical and mechanical errors.
  • Editing: Small-scale alterations in wording for clarity and consistency. Includes proofreading.
  • Revision: Make alterations to structure and content. Includes proofreading and editing.

  • Drafting original documents: Please provide information regarding purpose, content, length, tone, audience, etc.
  • Transcription: Writing text from audio file or dictation.
  • Translation: Translate documents from French to English and vice-versa.

Tutoring & Instruction

Please inquire if you are interested in tutoring. Academic tutoring may be done in person or remotely. Availability and space for art lessons are currently limited.

  • Private tutoring available for writing, English (grammar, reading comprehension, etc.), research/study skills, etc.
  • Available in half-hour, 45-minute, and 1-hour sessions
  • Either regular support or a one-time session is fine.

  • Lessons can be media-specific or general
  • Available in 45-minute, 1-hour, and 90-minute sessions

Other Services

  • Document digitization: Convert print documents, pamphlets, and books into searchable text files.
  • File organization: Digital or, if you are nearby, in-person assistance.
  • I would be glad to consider other ways of helping, too.
